About Our CEO

Nancy E. Allen BSN,RNC,CMC is the Chief Executive Officer of Solutions for Care Inc. specializing in healthcare consulting and geriatric care management. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Evangel University and is a board certified specialist in home health by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, certified as a care manager by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers and qualified as a long term care surveyor by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Nancy is the author of the book Survey Survivor! Ten Practical Steps to Survey Survival and is an author and reviewer for "Home Healthcare Nurse", The Official Journal for the Home Healthcare Nurses Association. She serves on the editorial board for the "Home Health Aide Digest"-The only magazine specifically designed for Home Health and Hospice paraprofessionals. Nancy has been an adjunct professor at Florida State College and is a frequent lecturer at the University of North Florida on issues of aging. Experience includes serving currently as an accreditation surveyor, a former state surveyor with the Agency for Healthcare Administration and working on major CMS contracts and as a Medicare Hearing Officer. Nancy has worked over 25 years as a clinician, Administrator, Director of Nurses and a home health provider. Memberships include the Florida Home Health Care Association and the National Home Health Nurses Association. The National and Florida Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers Association. She is the founder of the Northeast Florida Chapter of the Florida Geriatric Care Managers Association. Nancy was a finalist for the 2010 Women in Business Pioneer Award that recognized significant, long-term contributions to the role of women in Northeast Florida.

Carol joins our team as the Office Manager. She is a dedicated and technically skilled business professional with a versatile administrative support skill set developed through 40+ years as an office manager, bookkeeper, executive assistant and human resource administrator. She is a highly resourceful, flexible, innovative and enthusiastic individual who possesses a considerable amount of knowledge regarding administrative and office procedures.
